Seminar 2007 | Seminar 2008
The Centre of Excellence in Interdisciplinary Mental Health (CEIMH) at the University of Birmingham, has a vision that to be effective, mental health research must be underpinned by a commitment to interdisciplinary working and learning between different professional groups and service users. In pursuing this vision, the Centre's mission is to consolidate and expand the design, delivery, evaluation and dissemination of effective, innovative, interdisciplinary mental health research, teaching and learning.
The aim of this network is to develop close and effective working partnerships between the CEIMH and a small number of institutions and groups across Europe who are committed to this model of interdisciplinary work and interested in developing interdisciplinary research expertise and a base in their own organisations or institutions.
CEIMH has now hosted a series of three international seminars held in 2007, 2008 and 2009 with representatives travelling from Georgia, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Finland, Italy, Slovenia, Bosnia, Germany and England.
These pages are being developed as a resource both for those involved in the seminar and research programmes as well as others interested in the field.
